Senior Security Architect/Engineer (80-100%, m,f)

The development and deployment of digital identity services, such as SwissID or electronic certificates, demands the highest security standards for the applications and infrastructure. This ranges from questions about network security and middleware to security-related aspects in app development.

To expand our architecture team, we are looking for a practice-oriented Senior Security Architect. With his experience, he will support our teams in the development of security-related solution concepts and architectures for systems and services to ensure compliance with confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. In addition to complying with regulatory requirements, the main focus is on consistently implementing the "secure by design" approach while ensuring a high level of usability for our approximately 1.4 million end customers. - Interested?

Your new challenge

  • Analysis of our product strategy and defining, designing and implementing technical security architectures at application and system level
  • Development of security concepts and guidelines as a basis for the implementation of our solution
  • Assessing architectures and solutions in terms of their impact on security and compliance
  • Creation of the safety-relevant specifications with regard to the software and hardware architectures
  • Performing the technically oriented safety and risk analysis and its reporting
  • Carrying out and/or accompanying vulnerability analysis / ethical hacking / penetration testing including reporting
  • Evaluation of the results of the technical analyses and development of corresponding suggestions for improvement
  • Support of projects concerning technical security
  • Tracking CERT messages and trends in technical security
  • Participation in internal and external audits

What you bring along

  • University degree at Bachelor or Master level (University, ETH, FH) in computer science
  • 3-5 years practical experience with IT security architectures and processes
  • Advanced training in information security such as MAS Information Security, CISM, CISSP
  • Experience in cryptography, PKI, ASN1, IAM, FIDO as well as the security concepts of Kubernetes, Docker, iOS and Android are an advantage.
  • Software development skills are a plus
  • Team players with the will for continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Very good communication and social skills
  • Fluent German and English
